From The Franklin Mint's “Coins of All Nations” limited edition: the Hungary cover, holding a mint-fresh 2 Forint 1978, struck at the Budapest mint (BP mint mark).
The obverse shows the arms of the Hungarian People's Republic — shield in a wheat wreath under a red star, inscribed Magyar Népköztársaság; the reverse is a bold calligraphic numeral 2 with the date split 19–78.
The cachet is postmarked Budapest, 14 June 1978, and bears the 1 Forint Magyar Posta stamp celebrating the 700th anniversary of the city of Sopron (1277–1977), with its fire-watch tower. The Franklin Mint Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Clarence E. Mosley, is printed on the back.
You will receive the exact cover shown in the photos. Only one available.
