Commemorative medal marking the reunification of Germany on 3 October 1990, presented in an official Numisbrief (first day coin cover).
Obverse: German eagle and the Reichstag with the inscription “Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit” and “Deutschland einig Vaterland”. Reverse: portrait of Richard von Weizsäcker, first President of reunited Germany, surrounded by the coats of arms of the federal states. The cover bears two “Deutsche Einheit” stamps with Berlin first-day postmarks dated 3.10.1990.
