From The Franklin Mint's “Coins of All Nations” limited edition: the Czechoslovakia cover, holding a mint-fresh 2 koruny (Kčs) 1974 from the former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
The obverse bears the state emblem — the Bohemian lion on a shield beneath a star, inscribed Československá socialistická republika; the reverse shows a large stylised numeral 2 with a star and linden-leaf motif, a classic of socialist-era Czech coin design.
The cachet is postmarked Prague, 22 November 1978, and bears the 1 Kčs stamp issued for the PRAGA 1978 international stamp exhibition, showing a uniformed postilion with his horse. The Franklin Mint Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Clarence E. Mosley, is printed on the back.
A Cold War-era piece from a country that no longer exists. You will receive the exact cover shown in the photos. Only one available.
